The iPhone Air is a new addition to the iPhone lineup, introduced in September 2025, that replaces the Plus models. - Durability The iPhone Air is built with a new Ceramic Shield 2 front cover, offering improved scratch resistance, and a Ceramic Shield back for enhanced crack resistance, making it more durable than previous models.
- Connectivity & OS It runs on iOS 26, is eSIM-only worldwide (not compatible with physical SIM cards), and includes the new N1 networking chip with Wi-Fi 7 support.
Despite its thinness, it maintains features like the customizable Action button and an IP68 water resistance rating. The design prioritizes portability and style, though it sacrifices the versatility of an ultrawide lens found on other iPhone 17 models and It is also available in four colors: space black, cloud white, light gold, and sky blue.
